Google Toolbar Download Error

I’m on Firefox (mac) and have had some trouble installing the toolbar - but wait, there is a solution… right click this link and “save link as”. Save it to your desktop. Once you’ve got the file, all you’ve gotta do is physically drag the file on an open firefox window. Viola, you’ve got Google Toolbar.

  1. So -I was in my networking meeting and we do this 15 minute presentation, everybody signs up to do it and we rotate each week. This past Tuesday, Rob, the guy in my group who has just launched his SEO company ( a few months ago)did his. He said something interesting about Yahoo and Google’s toolbar. Is it true that they track everything you do? Is this a reason NOT to have the tool bar in your browser?

Something else: I brought up the point of how the web will morph and along with it, search engines and recognition. I wanted to get his perspective. he brought up the T.V. meshed with the web idea, that they are evidently working on. You watch a show - say, Martha Stewart, for lack of better example. she’s using this really cool gadget that you think you want to buy. You “pause” the program and push a button, and Bam! It brings up a web site where you can buy said item.

My thinking has always been that SEO is going to get smarter, faster and continually morph, as does anything technological or computer oriented. Like, the fact that SE’s don’t care anymore about how many hits you’ve had (or do they still?) Whadda you think of this? the toolbar and the net and where it’s going?

See - somebody does read this blog -Hee-hee!
